I'm using the Realtek High Definition Speakers through my playback device and I've tried reinstalling/uninstalling audio drivers, tweaking playback device setting properties, etc. System will apply the external device for default setting because of the connected external device, instead of built-in speaker   Built-in Microphone lost its function 1.

You will have to go through volume icon beside notification area on taskbar and right click on the icon.
