Yeh the r-spec ones look pretty smart but this one does the job. Not great when the temp is reading -12 on the clocks!! This leads me to believe the computer at least thinks the temperature regulator motor is moving the flap into the correct position so perhaps it isn't bad. - No engine codes

I think they call them flap motors and they open the ports for heating. Unplug the fan wiring connector then pull the wires out of the clip at the bottom of the fan and undo the 3 screws holding the cover on the fan with Lang may yer lum reek! Thanks for all the advice.
