phil08, I doubt it's my speakers as none of them work (left and right). This is a very common problem on the Bose amp causing crackling which is usually temperature dependent, so on cold mornings it'll be worse. If the amp inside the Head Unit has gone, there are usually a couple of Symphonys knocking about on Ebay. DO NOT REMOVE THE LARGE RECTANGULAR CONNECTOR THAT was connected to the speaker. I took the cover off. I found an amp at a semi-local salvage yard (100 miles or so) that shipped it to me for $150.
