Customers Hurt--You Heal

People buy from you because you solve a problem. The more the
problem hurts the customer, the faster they will find you and buy
what you have, be it product or service.

Your most effective marketing looks for people who hurt bad and
can be helped quickly by you.

For example, just about every web site I see could use at least a
little help making their copy more effective. Yet most web site
owners aren't concerned about that. Sure, I could keep telling
them that they would make more sales with better copy, but many
simply wouldn't care.

I'm far better off to find people who ALREADY believe their copy
needs help. And not just the folks who are a bit dissatisfied
with what they have. I need to find the ones who are REALLY
dissatisfied. They are outraged and saddened by how bad their
copy STINKS! Now that's a person who will be ready to buy my
copywriting service.

Make a list of the top two or three problems you fix either
through your service or with your product. Now think about where
you can advertise where you will reach the people who KNOW they
need you, and need you fast.

Make your ads speak to those people, advertise where they spend
time, and you will get results.
