After days of mucking about in the nether reaches of the Internet, beating the bushes for (free) Windows 10 compliant drivers for devices I had never given a second thought to—like With the CCC software failing to launch I figured my next step would be to edit the Registry. I tried everything including All combinations of DigitalHDTVDefaultUnderscan and TVEnableOverscan to 0 or 1 DigitalHDTVDefaultUnderscan in 0000, 0001 or even in different registry paths Setting DALR6 DFP1920x1080x0x59 or DALR6 DFP1920x1080x0x60 to Then I shut down my PC, removed my second screen (DVI) and rebooted: everything fine now!

My 08 was in a different position, but changing it to an 04 (and leaving the 01 and the 02) solved the problem. How To Fix Overscan Windows 10 I don't know. Any suggestions?
Whenever I would update Catalyst drivers, my Sony TV would have underscan, and I'd have to find the place in the drivers where you can set that to 0. Finally it worked! All I had to do was add this bolded command below to the Startup folder (i.e. The rebooted, and great news, no black borders.Big thanks to the OP from 4 yrs ago. That seems to be the "key" to changing the overscan/underscan.
