Here's the part about the RDF file: Sometimes the file that stores the positions and sizes of windows becomes corrupted. You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press Patrick, I went directly to the Mozilla folder in program files and right clicked on firefox.exe and did what you instructed, the taskbar is still present while watching video sites.
